The performance target matters as much as the parts

The minimum is stated for 1080p, Low settings, 60 FPS with upscaling. The recommended tier targets either 1440p, Medium, 70+ FPS at native resolution or 4K, Medium, 60+ FPS with upscaling.

    Press the Windows key, search for System Information and record the processor, installed RAM and Windows version.

    Find the dedicated GPU

    Open Task Manager → Performance → GPU. On a laptop, make sure you compare the dedicated GPU, not only the integrated graphics entry.

    Check free space

    Confirm at least 50 GB is available before installation and leave additional headroom for updates, shader caches and Windows.

    Compare the whole tier

    A recommended GPU does not compensate for 8 GB RAM or a far older processor. The weakest relevant component shapes the practical target.

  • Below 16 GB RAM: reach the official memory requirement before chasing higher visual settings.
  • Stutter in large fights: compare CPU utilization and frame time; a graphics-only upgrade may not address it.
  • GPU limited: reduce output resolution or use upscaling before replacing hardware.
  • Storage nearly full: create headroom; the listed 50 GB is the game requirement, not a healthy free-space margin.
  • Unexpected crash: use the startup troubleshooting guide instead of assuming every crash proves the PC is too slow.

Common questions

Can WARDOGS run with 8 GB RAM?

8 GB is below the official minimum and recommended requirement of 16 GB. A launch is not the same as a supported or stable 100-player experience.

Does WARDOGS support macOS or Linux?

The current official store requirements list Windows 10 and Windows 11. Do not buy on the assumption that another operating system is officially supported.

Is an SSD required?

The current store specification lists 50 GB available storage but does not explicitly state SSD as a requirement. An SSD can still improve loading behavior compared with a hard drive.
