Presence must survive until the next tick

Objective controlliving players + nearby spawn + supplied route + information

Sending more bodies once can win one count. Sustainable control requires a path back: transport, a useful FOB, revives and warnings about enemy movement.

Inside the zone

Hold useful ground

Spread across cover, watch different approaches and stay close enough to reinforce. Clustering every player in one building makes the count fragile.

Outside the zone

Protect the route

Interdict enemy transport, operate logistics and maintain forward spawns—but confirm that enough teammates remain inside to win the count.

Hot Zone means more cash, not a different victory rule

The official description says team actions inside the Hot Zone earn double cash. That creates a strong economy incentive and usually concentrates risk.

  • Use the bonus for actions you would already perform for the team.
  • Do not buy a loadout so expensive that one Hot Zone death erases several rewards.
  • Keep watching the Control Zone count; profitable fighting is not automatically winning.
  • Expect more vehicles, spotting and indirect pressure around the bonus area.

How towers fit into the match

Build-sensitive community explanation: players report that towers and related drill activity form a supporting objective chain that can provide codes, access or economic leverage. The exact interaction, timing and cost should be read from the current in-game objective UI.

Contest a tower whenyour team understands the reward, can hold the route and will not abandon a decisive Control Zone count.
Leave a tower whenthe fight is consuming players the zone needs, or the opposing team is using it as a distraction.
Use a drill whenthe current UI confirms the requirement and the team can defend the operation long enough to gain value.
Recheck after a patchbecause tower codes, costs and timers are balance data rather than the stable match win condition.

Make the right decision in each match phase

  1. EARLY

    Establish movement

Find the active zone, move players forward and create a supply route. An early side objective is valuable only if it improves the next objective fight.

  2. MID

    Sustain the count

Replace lost transport, reinforce useful FOBs and attack the enemy's route. Watch the score trend rather than reacting to every distant fight.

  3. LATE

    Protect the win condition

As a team approaches 100, the next few 30-second counts are more important than speculative economic projects. Put enough living players in the zone.

Common questions

Do kills score points?

The official rule awards the point to the team with the most players in the zone at each 30-second interval. Kills help by changing that count, but are not the stated scoring unit.

Does the Hot Zone give double XP?

The official store wording specifically confirms double cash. Do not assume every reward type is doubled unless the current game UI says so.

Do we have to capture every tower?

No. Towers are supporting objectives. If contesting one causes your team to lose repeated Control Zone ticks, the trade may be negative.
