The Lonestar cash and XP bonus was removed. The launch description is not a current bonus offer.
Season 2
- October 14 launch notes described a Season 2 Lonestar experiment.
- On October 16, G_Medlin's pinned developer post confirmed the bonus had been removed.
- The same post confirms Driver progression fixes and removal of the progression exploit.
- It does not publish a replacement XP formula or announce a reset of every account.
Separate the experiment from its removal
Launch patch notes described cash/XP advantages for Lonestar as an experiment. The later Steam developer post explicitly says the Lonestar buff and Driver progression exploit have been removed. That later confirmation takes precedence over the preview when answering whether the bonus still exists.
What changed for Driver?
Progression fixes and an exploit fix addressing early tank access are confirmed. The reviewed post does not publish a complete replacement XP curve, a fixed reward per delivery or a new client build number. An old rapid-leveling video is not a verified current progression route.
Is the losing-team discount the same bonus?
No. Launch notes separately list a 20 percent vendor discount when a team is at least 40 points behind second place. The removal notice does not mention cancelling that discount. Check the actual vendor quote; this does not independently verify unchanged availability on every live server.
What the notice does not establish
It is not a new general wipe announcement and supplies no replacement formula for every role. Limited Mode Servers are marked Coming Soon, not confirmed live. Player counts and community clips cannot establish backend rollout on every server.
Common questions
Should I join blue for more XP?
Not because of this removed bonus. Choose a team and squad for the match; an older bonus guide is not a current income guarantee.
Are the launch XP figures still current for Driver?
They are dated release figures, not a verified full post-fix curve. Check the actual role progression and use manual calculator inputs where needed.
Did the bonus removal wipe the whole season?
This developer post does not establish that. The wipe guide separates seasonal reset announcements from other changes.
Sources and verification
Developer information and community observations are labelled separately. A player report is not a guarantee from the developer. Use the stated source-check dates; a later page edit does not recheck the underlying game data.
