Complete useful deliveries and return trips; check repairs and the new Driver allocation for artillery.
Driver XP · Season 2
- Choose an actual passenger or supply request instead of empty laps.
- Keep vehicle losses low and compare cumulative role XP before and after completed actions.
- Launch notes publish logistics values, but the later backend correction provides no complete replacement payout table.
- Keep one-time access payments separate from each purchased vehicle deployment.
What gives Driver XP?
- Deliver passengers and needed supplies to a useful destination. Release logistics rules add streak bonuses for consecutive deliveries and return trips.
- Repair vehicles: Season 2 allocates repair XP to Driver or Pilot depending on the vehicle, instead of a flat Support award.
- Artillery now awards Driver XP rather than Support XP in the Season 2 notes. That does not make an unplanned expensive artillery purchase a good leveling strategy.
The post-launch Driver correction
On October 16, a developer confirmed Driver progression fixes and removal of an exploit granting early tank access. The post publishes neither a complete replacement curve nor fixed current XP per delivery. The figures below are explicitly October 14 launch-note values, not a post-fix live payout test.
Published logistics streak bonuses · launch reference
These are extra streak increments with caps, not each action's complete payout or an XP-per-hour prediction. The changelog corrected its original logistics figures to control-zone returns. Vehicle, action and later backend changes still need separate checks.
A repeatable route without exploits
- Confirm demand and a destination: passengers, FOB cargo or supplies for the active front.
- Deliver in an affordable vehicle; for airlift, agree on a safe landing area first.
- Plan a return trip, preserve the vehicle and buy the next load only when demand is confirmed.
- Record XP gains, costs and failed runs. Do not use team-switch, suicide or farming-server loops as a progression method.
Level thresholds are not action rewards
The release anchors below are cumulative role XP at a level, not XP per delivery. Unpublished intermediate values remain unknown. The calculator has manual inputs for different live thresholds; the backend notice cannot supply a complete new Driver curve.
Selected Season 2 unlock additions and changes
Only additions or changes explicitly named in the release changelog. A dash means unpublished here, not free. Other older references are separately marked in the vehicle database.
An unlocked tank is not a free spawn
The release lists T-72B3 at Driver 20 with a $250,000 access fee, plus $16,000 for a vehicle purchase. Gepard is Driver 25, $300,000 one-time access and $14,000 per purchased deployment. Keep a reserve for supplies and replacement runs.
Common questions
Does simply driving guarantee XP?
No universal official per-metre or per-minute rate is established here. Check completed actions and actual role progression.
Are streak bonuses unchanged after the Driver fix?
That has not been live-verified here. The table is dated, and the backend post supplies no complete replacement formula.
How can I still calculate target XP?
Use published release anchors, or copy current cumulative values from the game into the XP calculator's manual mode.
Sources and verification
Developer information and community observations are labelled separately. A player report is not a guarantee from the developer. Use the stated source-check dates; a later page edit does not recheck the underlying game data.
