- Reach the control zone for the first time. The spawn vehicle can also be unavailable until then.
- If the restriction persists afterward, record the server, time and message and report the mismatch.
When does the restriction apply?
The Season 2 changelog groups three restrictions under a lead of more than ten points: after joining a team, you cannot switch again for 15 minutes. After switching teams or joining a match in progress, your map stays obscured until you first reach the control zone. The spawn vehicle is also unavailable until that first visit.
What to do next
Use the objective and available in-game cues, or coordinate with your squad, to take a normal route to the control zone. Repeated team changes, reconnects and reinstalling are not documented substitutes for meeting the zone condition.
A match rule is not a connection diagnosis
An obscured map in a running match is different from an empty server list, a failed login or a disconnect. If you already visited the zone and the restriction persists, report that specific mismatch rather than concluding that every server is offline.
Common questions
Do I wait 15 minutes for the map to unlock?
The 15-minute timer concerns switching teams again. The map condition in the patch notes is reaching the control zone for the first time, not waiting for that timer.
Why is the spawn vehicle unavailable?
The same release notes restrict it until your first visit to the control zone under the joining/team-switch conditions described above.
Is this a region lock?
No. Map access, team switching and regional ping limits are separate rules.
