Repeat a useful role job instead of merely buying expensive gear.

Recon · Season 2

  1. Observe active approaches to the objective and mark threats your team can use.
  2. Move when the front moves; passive hill camping is not a repeatable information job.
  3. Season 2 adds M14 at Recon 25 and shifts BMR-308 to 20, SV98 to 18 and MK22 to 30.

What gives Recon XP?

Role progression follows actual equipment use and action allocation. Both can change by season. Compare progress before and after a completed action; a class label or expensive purchase alone does not establish an XP payout.

  • Observe active approaches to the objective and mark threats your team can use.

A fast, legitimate leveling loop

  1. Choose an active squad and a reachable objective.
  2. Buy an affordable kit for one specific role job.
  3. Repeat useful actions, limit losses and check actual XP gains.

Official release patch notes ↗

Do not confuse thresholds with payouts

These are cumulative role XP values from the release changelog, not XP per kill, revive or spot. Intermediate values are not estimated; use manual calculator inputs for different current data.

Level 1025,000 XP
Level 20111,500 XP
Level 35525,000 XP
Level 501,150,000 XP

One job, one affordable kit

An access fee, a weapon purchase and consumable equipment are different costs. Check ammunition and a replacement reserve before deploying. Database fields from older references are separately marked; a different data version is not a current vendor quote.

What wastes time and progression

  • Treating old role levels or removed faction bonuses as current.
  • Following unsupported XP-per-hour promises or dedicated farming servers.
  • Buying a kit whose loss prevents the next useful run.

Common questions

Is this the complete unlock tree?

No. The table contains selected explicitly published additions and changes. Check the live game for the full tree and later revisions.

Can I rely on a fixed XP rate?

Not from this guide. Actions, items, servers and balance state affect actual progress. Publishing a level threshold does not guarantee a payout rate.

Sources and verification

Developer information and community observations are labelled separately. A player report is not a guarantee from the developer. Use the stated source-check dates; a later page edit does not recheck the underlying game data.
