The six role tracks
Assault
Pushes and holds infantry ground with weapons, ammunition and close coordination. Choose it when the squad needs another dependable fighter rather than a specialist.
Medic
Stabilizes the squad through healing and revives. Strong positioning, smoke discipline and patience matter more than chasing every downed icon.
Recon
Creates information through observation and spotting, then acts on valuable targets. It is not simply a license to stay far from the objective.
Support
Handles supplies, construction and team-enabling equipment. It becomes valuable when its work shortens routes or keeps an active position functioning.
Driver
Operates ground vehicles for transport, logistics or combat. Route choice and returning the vehicle safely are part of the role.
Pilot
Uses aircraft to move players or support the wider fight. Practise controls before carrying passengers; one reliable landing is worth more than an ambitious crash.
Choose by the missing job
Role selection is a response to the team state. If the missing job changes, your next life can change with it.
Build a role loadout without overbuying
- One primary job: state what the loadout will accomplish in a single sentence.
- One survival plan: carry the ammunition, smoke or medical support needed to finish that job.
- One team connection: know which squad, vehicle or FOB makes the role useful.
- A repeatable price: keep enough balance to field several attempts, not one perfect kit.
- A fallback: if the specialist task disappears, contribute with a basic weapon and communication.
Common questions
Can I play more than one role in a life?
Yes. Loadouts are flexible. But extra tools raise the price, and focused play makes both team contribution and progression easier to understand.
Which role is best for a solo beginner?
Assault or a modest Medic loadout keeps you near teammates and teaches the objective fight. Avoid starting with a costly vehicle role before practising its controls.
Is Recon just the sniper class?
No. Its team value is information: spotting useful threats, watching routes and helping the squad act before contact.
